Great, It's the Pervy Neighbor. We're Doomed

Chapter 463: Pighead Folk

Chapter 463: Pighead Folk

This man took such a brutal blow and collapsed to the ground. He strained to turn his head and look behind himself.

He saw what was behind him.

Bathed in the window’s natural light stood someone wearing a red and black checkered shirt, with a pig’s head perched atop his skull.

The man stood there motionless, a bloodied Claw Hammer in his right hand.

It was that Claw Hammer that had knocked him down.

"Ahhhhh!"

Whether it was because this man had extraordinary constitution, or because the pig-headed man’s previous strike had not been delivered with full force, the blow had not been lethal.

In any case, the man actually managed to pick himself up off the floor.

After getting up, he didn’t look back;under his girlfriend’s pleading eyes, he fled the room.

"No! No! Don’t go! Come back and save me!!!"

The woman who had been hung up writhed in agony, her body in pain and her heart even more so.

She tore at her throat begging her boyfriend to come back and rescue her, but she didn’t notice something strange at all.

Her boyfriend had gotten up from the floor and run out.

For the pig-headed man, there had been many chances to stop him, with ease, yet he let the man escape without any reaction.

Only after a full two minutes did he snap into motion like a wound-up automaton, and race out.

"Huff, huff."

Heavy breaths spilled continuously from the man’s mouth.

Running down the corridor of the old manor, he looked utterly disheveled.

Fresh blood kept dripping from the top of his head onto the floor, leaving a trail behind him that warned the pursuing pig-headed man.

He ran shouting "Help!" all the way, trying to draw the attention of others in the building to come to his rescue.

He reached the second-floor stair landing.

Just as he was about to run down to the first floor, a pair of large hands suddenly reached out from the cleaning closet and clapped over his mouth,

dragging him into the closet.

"If you want to live, shut up!"

The owner of those hands warned sternly.

The man, terrified, dared not make a sound.

Once he was obediently hauled inside, he seemed to notice something and pointed downward.

The owner of the hands naturally saw what he was pointing at — the streak of blood trailing across the floor.

That would probably draw people.

Unexpectedly, the owner of the hands gave a cold chuckle. "Perfectly fine with me, as long as that person dares to come."

A minute or two later,

the two people hiding in the pitch-black closet heard heavy footsteps pass by along the stairs.

The footsteps stopped with a faint distance at the closet door.

The man with his mouth covered was nearly paralyzed with fear;if his mouth had not been covered he would have surely screamed.

After all, his arms and legs were trembling violently.

Then something strange happened.

Less than a minute later, the footsteps that had halted at the closet door retreated away with a dull thud, the sound of someone climbing back up the stairs.

Even so, the two people in the closet didn’t move;three minutes passed before the hands finally released the man.

Overcome with fear, the man collapsed to the floor just as he had when he was struck.

Once on the ground, he began to whimper and sob.

Tears blurred his eyes, streaming down like they cost nothing, pooling on the floor.

The owner of the hands stepped over him and out of the stairwell.

He didn’t walk far, only to the lit corridor outside the stairwell.

"You’re still alive? What are you crying for? You’re a grown man acting like a woman — no, not even a woman, you’re a weakling."

The owner of the hands suddenly started berating the man.

The man lifted his head and forced himself to stand.

Stumbling out of the closet, he finally saw the face of the man who had covered his mouth and saved his life.

It was a man in his thirties.

He wore a camouflage combat suit and a pair of military boots.

Short black hair, a face like it had been carved with a knife.

The overall impression was one of competence.

Additionally, there was a scar along the left cheek.

It made his competence seem edged with ruthlessness.

At this moment, the man stood with his arms folded, nine parts disdain and one part contempt.

"Thanks for saving me, but who are you?"

The man covered the back of his still-bleeding head. If this were a game, his HP would be steadily draining away.

Although this was a treasure hunt in the castle and many high school classmates had brought friends, meaning there were certainly unfamiliar faces,

the man clearly remembered that at the bus stop outside the school gate he hadn’t seen anyone dressed like this.

"You can just call me Zombie Tyrannosaurus. Alright, you asked your question — now it’s my turn. Who are you? And what are all of you doing here at the castle?"

"You can call me Ah Jie."

"As for why so many of us are here, those are my classmates;we were all in the same high school class."

"Our appearance here is part of our class reunion activities."

"Our class monitor hid a lot of prizes in this castle. Whoever finds them gets them. So you understand now, right?"

Zombie Tyrannosaurus nodded. "Understood."

In the next second he pulled out his phone and sent the information he had overheard to the five Explorers in their group chat.

After sending the message, he looked at Ah Jie with a puzzled stare. "Why aren’t you leaving yet? Why aren’t you running to get someone to rescue your girlfriend?"

At the reminder, Ah Jie slapped his forehead, suddenly remembering, but the slap sent a tearing pain through his skull.

He hurried down to the first floor,

burst out of the servants’ building,

and onto the outdoor clearing.

He scanned the distance.

He realized that when they had first arrived at the estate the sky had been clear,

but now it was overcast;thick clouds had rolled in and rain could fall at any moment.

The ambient temperature had dropped a bit, and a cold wind swept by.

He looked for people but saw none.

He took a few steps forward and still saw no one, guessing they were all searching inside the castle and other buildings for prizes.

"Damn it! Damn it!"

He shouted twice, and his right hand accidentally brushed against the metal lump in his pants pocket!

He suddenly remembered he had his phone!

He pulled it out to call and contact classmates for help,

but for some reason there was no signal!!!

He looked around, shook the phone, but still no signal.

Calls and data were useless.

The castle estate felt like a signal-jamming zone.

"Damn!"

He put his phone away and glanced back at the old building where he had been, but didn’t dare go back inside.

At that moment he also noticed the man who had saved him had not come out with him.

"I don’t care!"

He grit his teeth,

and ran toward the largest castle on the estate, shouting, "Help!"

trying to attract others’ attention.
