Chapter 222 The Epilogue of Saint Night Star
Chapter 222 The Epilogue of Saint Night Star
Deep within the Eye of Fear, in Abaddon's Throne Room!
Harken knelt on the cold deck, his black wings drooping limply, the feathers still bearing the marks of psychic burns. Abaddon's footsteps echoed in the empty hall, each step making Harken's heart pound.
“You’ve let me down, Harken,” Abaddon’s voice was deep and menacing. “Three chances, three failures.”
Abaddon raised his hand, and Harken's body suddenly levitated in the air. His black wings were torn apart by an invisible force, each feather being forcibly plucked out. Harken let out a painful roar, but Abaddon remained unmoved.
"Where is your pride?" The Chaos Warlord flicked his finger, and Harken's power claws suddenly twisted in the opposite direction. "Where is your power?"
After the torture had lasted a full hour, Harken was on the verge of death. His body was covered in horrific wounds, and his wings were nothing but bare skeletons.
Abaddon slammed Harken to the ground and tossed him a data tablet: "Go to Vigilant Planet and create chaos in your best way. This is your last chance."
The data panel displays detailed information about the warning star:
- Main objective:
- Spreading Chaotic Beliefs
- To create terrorist incidents
- Weakening defensive capabilities
- Restrictions:
- Large-scale troop deployment is prohibited
- The identity of the Black Legion must not be revealed.
- Must not engage in direct conflict with the main imperial force.
“Remember,” Abaddon’s voice was like an ice blade, “if you fail again, I will personally take your soul.”
As Harken dragged his broken body out of the throne room, he took one last look at the holographic projection of the Vigilant Star. This planet would become his place of redemption, or his final resting place.
On his way to Vigilant Planet, Harken began plotting a new scheme. He knew he had to change tactics this time. Instead of a high-profile attack, he would infiltrate silently.
“Fear,” he murmured, “is the most powerful weapon.”

Calga's flagship, "Eternal Glory".
Calgarh stood before the observation deck, gazing at the nebulae drifting past the window. Two royal guards stood like statues on either side, their golden armor gleaming in the starlight.
Suddenly, the alarm sounded throughout the entire ship.
"Subspace fluctuations detected!" The sensor officer's voice trembled with fear. "It's...it's the Slaanesh!"
A pinkish-purple rift tore through the void, and the Keeper of the Secrets gracefully stepped out of the warp. Its body was breathtakingly perfect, and strange slime dripped from the spear in its hand.
“Ah, Lord of Macragge,” the Keeper’s voice was like heavenly music, “let us dance together.”
Calgar immediately drew the Emperor's Wrath power sword, its runes blazing brightly. But the Keeper of the Secrets was too fast; its spear arced in a deadly arc, aimed straight for the Chapter Master's heart.
"For the Emperor!" Calga roared as he parried, but the slime on the spear corroded the power sword's energy field.
The Keeper spun gracefully, thrusting his spear once more. This time, the spear tip grazed Karga's shoulder armor, and the eerie slime immediately began to corrode the adamantite armor.
[System Warning: Unknown toxin detected. Evacuate immediately!]
Just as the Keeper of the Secrets was about to deliver the fatal blow, two golden lights flashed. The Guardians' spears crossed, blocking the attack from the Slaanesh.
"Step back, heretics!" The Imperial Guard's voice boomed like thunder.
The Keeper of Secrets gracefully retreated, but a flicker of annoyance crossed its eyes: "What a rude interruption. But..." its figure began to blur, "we'll meet again soon."
As the Slaanesh vanished into the warp rift, Kalgar finally collapsed, kneeling on one knee. His shoulder armor was completely corroded, and a strange, slimy substance was seeping into his body.
"Activate the purification protocol immediately!" The Imperial Guardsman supported the battle commander. "Notify Macurag that we need the highest level of medical support!"
Inside the medical pod, the technical priests were busy analyzing the toxins. Karga lay in the purification pod, his body enveloped in golden light.
“This toxin,” the chief medical officer said with concern, “is something we’ve never seen before. It not only corrodes matter, but it also erodes the soul.”
The Imperial Guards stood beside the purification chamber, their spears still firmly gripped: "We will protect our Commander until the very last moment."
…………
The surface of the Blood Throne!
Chapter Commander Pedro Canto stood before the landing pod, his bronze power armor stained with the marks of battle. On the holographic tactical map, the Black Legion's last line of defense was clearly visible:
- Core Area:
- Chaos Titan x3
- Demon Engine x12
Chaos Terminator x47
"For the Emperor!" The battle group commander's roar echoed throughout the landing force via the communications network.
As the landing pods crashed to the ground, the first thing that came into view was the colossal silhouette of three Chaos Titans. Their armor was crawling with writhing flesh, and their cannons spewed purple flames.
"Activate the Titan Killer Protocol!" Pedro shouted into the communicator.
The Crimson Fist's Titan forces responded immediately:
- "Iron Will" (Admiral-class)
- USS Unyielding Fortress (Marauder-class)
- "Honor Hammer" (Warhound-class)
The "Iron Will" fired its volcanic cannon first, sending a torrent of molten lava straight at the nearest Chaos Titan. But the Titan easily dodged it and countered with a plasma cannon shot that struck the "Honor Hammer" in the leg joint.
"Damn it!" the Titan crew cursed. "They're too maneuverable!"
Pedro immediately adjusted tactics: "Concentrate firepower and take out the one on the far left first!"
Three loyal Titans opened fire simultaneously, and the dense barrage finally tore apart the target Titan's Void Shield. As its armor began to melt, the Indomitable Fortress's molten cannon delivered the fatal blow.
[System Notification: Chaos Titan x1 has been destroyed]
Meanwhile, ground forces clashed with the Black Legion's last resistance. The Chaos Terminators formed a wedge formation, tearing through the Crimson Fist's lines with explosives and chainswords.
"For the Emperor!" Pedro personally led the Terminator Guard in a charge. Each swing of his power sword claimed the life of a Chaos Warrior, but the enemy was simply too numerous.
Suddenly, a daemon engine emerged from the flank, its tentacles ensnaring several Space Marines. Pedro immediately switched tactics: "Heavy weapons platoon! Blast that monster to smithereens!"
When the last Chaos Titan fell, the Black Legion's defenses finally crumbled. Pedro led his forces into the core area, planting Holy Energy Bombs at every key node.
"Retreat!" the battle group leader shouted into the communicator. "Everyone, evacuate immediately!"
As the landing module lifted off, the Blood Throne began to crumble. A massive explosion ripped apart the planet's surface, reducing all of the chaotic creation to ashes.
