Chapter 211 The Black Legion's Preparations!
Chapter 211 The Black Legion's Preparations!
Seeing the cunning smile on the face of the enraged, bloodthirsty madman, the Skullgrapper Harken, he said: I will find Kaldo, Diego, but you have to do one thing for me.
“You cunning bastard, what do you want me to do for you this time?” Blankabad growled.
"This world needs purification, and our Black Legion cannot do it; only you, the strongest bloodthirsty madman, can accomplish it!"
“I will help you, I crave more battles!” Blancabard roared.
Demon armies began to appear in the real world, with countless Khorne Knights and Vampires appearing on the battlefield. These warlike demons were constantly going mad, wanting to cut down any enemy in front of them.
“Let’s begin, Lord Blankabad!” said Harken the Skull Raider.
"Roar!" The bloodthirsty madman roared and then commanded the powerful Khorne Legion to cleanse this demon world.
The Khorne Legion swept across the world with unstoppable momentum until they encountered the demon prince "Agares".
Tzeentch, the demon prince, would not allow such a thing to happen; a life-or-death battle was destined between him and the bloodthirsty madman.
The Khorne Legion and the local Tzeentch demons clashed in a bloody battle on the fiery red plains.
A powerful, bloodthirsty berserker has entered the battlefield!
The bloodthirsty madman's hooves shattered the crystallized ground, each step leaving a trail of burning sulfur. Behind him, the battle formation of 866 vampires was crumbling—not in defeat, but torn apart by some ancient malice. Suddenly, a dark rift opened in the crimson sky, and ninety-nine bronze coffins, wreathed in green flames, crashed into the battlefield.
“Tzeentch’s bastard!” Blankabard swung his axe, cleaving through the falling coffin. Rotting fragments of the Star God seeped from the broken metal. He smelled it, deep within the stench of sulfur and putrid blood, that wisp of chaotic essence that made his axe blade tremble.
Tzeentch, the Demon Prince, is so powerful because he has mastered a portion of the Star God's power.
The skeletal throne shattered space as it descended. Azure soulfire flickered in the eye sockets of eight skeletal warhorses, their iron hooves etching shrill, monstrous faces into reality with each strike. The demon prince Agares's four-part voice echoed across the battlefield: "You reek of deceit, lackey of the Blood God."
Blancabard responded with three blood-moon-like arcs of light. The first shattered the void shield before the throne, the second severed the spines of four skeletal warhorses, and the third was deflected into the sky by Agares's sword—that strike continued to fly through the gap between warp and reality, simultaneously cleaving thirty-seven vampires and twelve balora in two at the waist.
"Your blood will nourish my garden." The demon prince spread his bat wings, and the severed warhorse skeleton suddenly came to life, wreathed in eerie green flames, and lunged at the great demon. Blankabard laughed maniacally as bone spikes pierced his shoulder armor, then backhanded him and deeply wedged his battle axe into a crack in Agares' breastplate. The axe blade, inlaid with Khorne runes, clashed with the void sword, adorned with Tzeentch gems, and the resulting energy ripples stirred up giant waves in the lava sea for miles around.
Harken stood on an observation platform made of stacked skulls, the lenses of his brass telescope forged from the eyes of a thousand psionicists. He saw each clash of the two demon lords tear open wounds in the real world—Blancabard's left horn appearing on the battlefield thirty seconds earlier in an instant, while Agares's tail sting pierced three vampires at different points in time simultaneously.
“Not enough…” The Skullgrapper licked the blood crystals that had congealed on his power claws. The magic circle beneath his feet, composed of nine hundred demon skulls, hummed, each empty eye socket spewing pale blue flames. As Agares used the Void Sword to cleave the spatial rift for the fourth time, Harken suddenly plunged his power claws into the center of the magic circle.
Time on the battlefield suddenly seemed to malfunction. Blankabad seized that fleeting moment, his severed right horn piercing his opponent's throat. The demon prince let out a scream that seemed to encompass four dimensions, its sonic waves shattering seventy-three of the fighting Khorne knights. But the great demon's art of slaughter had only just begun—his tattered wings suddenly unfurled, six thousand metallic feathers transforming into a crimson storm that pinned Agares to the shattered rifts of spacetime.
"In the name of the Blood God!" Blankabad's battle axe unleashed an eight-pointed star of blood-red light, the final strike piercing through nine overlapping layers of reality. The demon prince's body simultaneously manifested twenty-seven different states of death, including decapitation, being cut in half at the waist, and being cleaved in two, while his collapsing soul stirred up an energy tide in the warp that lasted for three days.
As the surviving Khorne's army began to devour the remains of the defeated, a low growl, laced with chewing sounds, came through Harken's communicator from Blankabad: "Fraudster, you'd better actually find Kaldor, Diego!..."
The Skull Raider gazed at the gradually forming Khorne Mark in the sky, revealing his gleaming white teeth: "Of course, sir. The secrets of Vigilant Planet will be a hundred times more exciting than this battle."
After Tzeentch the Demon Prince was killed, the Skull Raider Harken took over the entire planet. He built countless demon matrices and demon factories. Everything he did was for the ultimate goal: to close the Nakmonde Corridor and completely split the Empire.
Just as the Skull Snatcher Harken was feeling smug, a dark wizard approached and said: "Lord Harken, my master has brought new news."
“Speak!” Harken said.
"Our master has ordered us to attack Holy Night Star. Before we attack Vigilant Star, we must clear out the surrounding star system!" The dark wizard mimicked Abaddon's tone.
"Understood, I will attack Saint Night Star according to Master's orders!"
Although he verbally agreed, Harken did not immediately send troops to attack Saint Night Star, but instead continued to strengthen the defenses of this demon world.
…………
Things went very smoothly. With the arrival of the Crimson Fist Team Leader, Saint Night Star became a unified entity again, and all forces were united.
The warband commander observed the entire Holy Night Star through the bird divination instrument.
“We’re very close to Vigilant Star from here, so we can provide support at any time,” Pered, Canto said.
The chief think tank member asked: "Sir, what do we need to do?"
"Fortify the defenses here; this will be our base from now on!"
"Why strengthen the defenses? Will someone attack this place?" the chief think tank member asked, puzzled.
"I don't know if anyone is attacking this place, but my gut feeling tells me that it needs a much stronger defense!"
“I will pass the notification on!” the think tank said.
"Do you know anything about that human named Russell?" the warband leader asked the chief think tank.
After a brainstorming session, the think tank member said: "I have never had any information about this person."
“A captain in Kashezin couldn’t have done all this; he must have someone behind him!” the corps commander guessed.
