Chapter 115 The Correct Way to Handle a Loli
Chapter 115 The Correct Way to Handle a Loli
Lucifer stroked his chin, lost in thought. Although his body was that of a vampire, his soul was human. Having finally encountered someone of his kind, it seemed he shouldn't stand idly by.
However, being new to this world, he didn't know what the humans here were like, whether they were good or bad. If he saved a group of ruthless killers, wouldn't he be aiding and abetting evil?
After a moment, Lucifer finally couldn't resist his human identity and decided to go and see what was going on. If they were good people, he would help them; if they were bad people, he would let them fend for themselves.
“Let’s go save them!” Lucifer said calmly.
"But Your Majesty, I sense that the magical beast is very strong. What if you encounter danger? We won't be able to help you," Lulu said hesitantly.
"Hehe, what do you think of that magical beast compared to the Wolf King?" Lucifer smiled.
Lulu was level 12, so she naturally felt it was powerful. Obviously, the level of that magical beast should be very high, but it didn't say how many levels it was, only that it was very strong. Lucifer had no choice but to find someone to compare it with.
They had all seen the Wolf King, so it would be easier for him to compare them and estimate the opponent's strength. If he couldn't beat him, he wouldn't go.
After all, with the Queen not by his side and no super bodyguards, he had to act cautiously. Compared to strangers, the two little girls were still somewhat more reliable. He didn't want to risk his life and lose everything.
After a moment of contemplation, the two sisters said in unison, "They shouldn't be as strong as the Wolf King. They seem to be about the same as the Great Protector of the Wolf Fang Clan."
Lucifer nodded. In that case, he wouldn't be afraid. He was currently level 23, while the Great Protector was around level 26. With his ability to fight opponents of higher levels, it shouldn't be a problem.
Moreover, he now possesses the Devour skill, making this magical beast a great tonic! If he devours it, he might be able to level up a few more times.
And that's how it was done.
“Yes, no problem, I can handle it. Let’s go,” Lucifer said resolutely.
“But, Your Majesty, it’s about a kilometer from here. By the time we get there, they’ll be gone.” Linlin tugged at Lucifer’s sleeve.
"It's nothing, a piece of cake. Do you want to fly?" Lucifer smiled slightly.
"Fly? Yes, we want to! We dream about it!" the two sisters exclaimed in unison, extremely excited.
"Alright, I'll take you guys for a ride today." Lucifer smiled; it felt so good to be so cool.
He then hugged the two of them tightly, one on each side, saying, "Hold on tight, or you'll fall."
The two sisters nodded excitedly, gripping Lucifer's clothes tightly with both hands, filled with anticipation as they prepared to fly.
Lucifer's body trembled, and a pair of black bat wings grew from his back, startling the two sisters who widened their eyes in disbelief. Their king actually had wings; wasn't he human?
"Go!" Lucifer shouted, his bat wings flapped, and he rose from the ground, soaring upwards, transforming into a whirlwind and flying into the distance.
Two clear, crisp exclamations echoed faintly in the sky.
"Whoosh! It's flying! It's flying!"
Soaring high with outstretched wings, flying freely like a bird.
The two little girls were extremely nervous at first. Their two arms combined were not even as thick as Lucifer's single arm. Yet, their two thin little hands almost broke Lucifer's neck.
They had lived on land since childhood and had never flown. Although they longed for the sky, they were somewhat afraid because they did not have the ability to fly.
The same was true when Emily and the others were lifted into the air by Lucifer; they were incredibly nervous.
However, the two little girls had a pretty good will. They were terrified at first, but they quickly got used to it, and their faces were filled with happiness and joy.
However, the immense force on their necks told Lucifer that they were still very afraid, though they didn't show it. Lucifer understood and didn't say anything more, then carried them into the sky.
Guided by Lulu, Lucifer quickly led the two to their destination, quietly landing on a thick tree trunk and looking down.
There were seven people present, but Lucifer recognized them as humans at a glance.
However, he didn't quite understand. Chris and the others had said that this place was very far from where humans lived, and it would take most people half a year to get there.
Furthermore, the vast Monster Forest is fraught with danger and teeming with monsters. How did they, a group of only seven, manage to get here?
Moreover, their strength is generally low. None of them are above level 20. The strongest one is only level 18 and the weakest one is level 10. Such a group is really pitifully weak.
Of course, from Lucifer's current perspective, that is indeed the case. If he had encountered such a combination when he was still a weakling, he would have been extremely impressed.
Things are different now. Their level is no match for him. He could easily take on all seven of them one-on-one without any effort.
They were now back to back, surrounded by a group of magical beasts of various races, and outside of them stood a gigantic golden lion.
If Lucifer's guess is correct, this golden lion should be the powerful magical beast that Lulu and the other person were talking about.
A sharp glint flashed in Lucifer's eyes, and he easily discerned the Golden Lion's level: only level 20, three levels lower than him.
They posed no threat to him whatsoever. However, he probably couldn't handle this group of seven, otherwise he wouldn't be in such a sorry state.
Lucifer carefully examined the seven people: four women and three men, all around his age. However, the oldest man was at least 20 years old, while the little girl they were protecting in the center was probably the youngest, around 15 years old.
From their conversation, Lucifer roughly learned their names and ranks.
Leo, level 16, wields a long sword, has long black hair in a bun, wears a wide-sleeved white shirt, and has black eyebrows that curve like willow leaves. There is a very dangerous scar under his left eye. He looks like a refined and handsome man.
Lyonster, level 13, wore a black cloak, with half of his upper body bare, exposing his strong muscles. His red hair was draped over his shoulders, and there were wounds all over his body that were not covered by his leather coat. Yet, he was still holding a bottle of fine wine and drinking it down without fear. He was a real man.
Barton, level 17, with short, bright green hair that clearly shows he's been cheated on too much, wears stained emerald green and black leather armor, and his eyes reveal a discerning and alert nature.
Next to him was Fei, the weakest level, level 10. She was a pink-haired girl with pigtails, wearing a cute light yellow undershirt and a white trench coat. She was pretty and charming, a delicate and innocent girl, the kind of girl who is commonly known as a "naive and sweet girl".
She was the youngest, surrounded by the crowd in the center, holding a bow and arrow, looking very nervous. Because she was protected in the center, she had fewer scars on her body.
And directly in front of her were two girls. Lucifer took a closer look and exclaimed, "Wow, they're twin sisters!"
