V.4.299. Dao Space (Volume Ends)

Years pass.Then,

The sky changes.

Three tribulations descend.

Three separate storms.

Yet bound by one moment.

Lightning gathers above the world, thick and violent, as the will of heaven condenses into punishment, descending upon the three Lian sisters who now stand at the threshold of Sainthood.

They do not stand as before.

Their past bodies,

Refined.

Transformed.

No longer vessels,

But weapons.

Each body now carries the essence of what they once were, reshaped into forms that can bear the tribulation, drawing the lightning into themselves, dispersing, resisting, enduring.

Above them,

The three lotuses rise again.

White.

Golden.

Purple.

Radiant beyond measure.

The lightning falls.

Strike after strike.

Relentless.

Unending.

Yet the lotuses intercept.

They block.

They absorb.

They shield the souls beneath them.

The tribulation intensifies.

Its final stages descend.

The sisters do not retreat.

They transform.

Dragon forms emerge.

Their bodies stretch and change, scales forming, power surging, as they take the final blows head-on, using the strength of their Dragon forms to withstand what remains.

The sky roars.

Then,

It quiets.

The tribulation ends.

Silence falls.

Three Saints are born.

At that moment,

Merin feels it.

Deep within the origin of the world.

A shift.

An increase.

Subtle,

Yet undeniable.

The world has grown.

He understands immediately.

The more cultivators that step into Sainthood,

The more the world evolves.

Its foundation strengthens.

Its limits expand.

If this continues,

If the world advances from a small world to a middle world,

Then as its master,

He can draw upon its power.

And step into the Supreme Stage.

But,

This is only a secondary path.

A backup.

Because the resources required to elevate a world,

Are enough to push ten individuals into the Supreme Stage directly.

Merin does not intend to rely on it.

His goal remains unchanged.

The Supreme Throne.

Without compromise.

Without dependence.

He acts.

A command spreads.

Within the Dragon Temple,

Three new idols rise.

The Dragon of Purity.

The Dragon of Radiance.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

The Dragon of Mystery.

Placed beside his own.

To be worshipped.

To gather faith.

To stabilize their positions as Saints within his world.

After their breakthrough,

The three Lian sisters enter seclusion.

To stabilize.

To control.

To master the power they have gained.

Days pass.

Then,

Merin leaves.

He steps beyond the world.

Into the void.

Silence surrounds him.

Endless.

Still.

Then,

Something appears.

Before him,

A spider web forms.

Spreading across nothingness, anchoring itself where there is no ground, its threads shimmering with hidden Laws.

Upon it,

A figure appears.

Ye Weiran.

Standing calmly.

Her presence alone bends the void.

Their auras collide.

Invisible,

Yet overwhelming.

The space between them distorts.

Neither speaks.

They move.

Ye Weiran attacks first.

Poison gathers.

Dark.

Condensed.

It forms into spears,

Evil Poison Spears.

They shoot forward.

Silent.

Deadly.

Merin shifts.

He dodges.

Effortless.

Then raises his hand.

Fire forms.

Not ordinary flame,

But Law.

A whip of fire lashes outward, snapping toward Ye Weiran with destructive force.

It strikes.

But,

Before the impact settles,

Ye Weiran moves.

Her Law activates.

Cause.

Effect.

She transfers the damage.

Redirects it.

The force vanishes from her,

And appears elsewhere.

A rock in the void.

It explodes instantly.

Shattering into nothingness.

The battle has begun.

The void distorts as their auras grind against each other, unseen yet overwhelming, bending space into spirals that collapse and reform under the pressure of two opposing Daos.

Ye Weiran moves first.

Her presence shifts.

Her Dao unfolds.

Poison spreads.

Invisible.

Silent.

It seeps into existence itself, turning the surrounding void into a domain of corrosion where even energy begins to decay.

At the same time,

Emotion rises.

A wave.

Subtle.

Dangerous.

It does not attack the body,

But the mind.

Fear.

Desire.

Despair.

They surge toward Merin, trying to disrupt his focus, to shake his control, to fracture his will.

Behind it,

Evil manifests.

A distortion of intent.

A corruption of Law.

Everything within her domain bends toward destruction, toward imbalance, amplifying every attack into something more vicious, more absolute.

And then,

Cause and Effect activates.

Every movement.

Every action.

Is linked.

Bound.

Prepared to be redirected, transferred, or returned.

Above all,

The Moon.

Its pale glow spreads through the void, illuminating nothing yet influencing everything, stabilizing her Dao while enhancing the other Laws within it.

She attacks.

Poison condenses into countless threads, weaving through space as invisible spears that do not aim for flesh, but for existence itself.

Merin does not retreat.

His Dao unfolds.

Dragon.

Virtual.

Two pillars.

Absolute.

The Law of Virtual spreads first.

Dream.

Yin and Yang.

Four Elements.

Five Elements.

They expand beneath him, forming a layered domain where reality becomes fluid, where truth and illusion intertwine.

Within it,

All other Laws orbit.

Light.

Dark.

Strength.

Wither.

They revolve around the framework, ready to be drawn upon.

Merin’s gaze sharpens.

He does not counter with force.

He absorbs.

The emotional waves strike,

And dissolve.

Dream consumes them.

Transforms them into nothing more than passing illusions.

The poison threads enter his domain,

And are rewritten.

Virtual Law alters their existence, weakening their structure before they can reach him.

Then,

He attacks.

Wither.

It spreads.

Not as flame.

Not as energy.

But as decay.

A power that erodes.

That ages.

That breaks down everything it touches.

It flows outward like a silent tide, clashing directly against Ye Weiran’s domain.

Where Wither meets Poison,

Both distort.

Both consume.

But Wither goes deeper.

It does not simply destroy,

It ends.

Ye Weiran’s eyes narrow.

Her Law shifts instantly.

Cause and Effect triggers.

The Wither energy that approaches her,

Disappears.

Transferred.

Reappearing elsewhere in the void, devouring fragments of space into nothingness.

She counters.

The Moon brightens.

Emotion intensifies.

Evil deepens.

Poison condenses further.

Her attacks become layered, each strike carrying multiple Laws at once, overlapping, reinforcing, impossible to separate cleanly.

Merin steps forward.

His dragon presence expands.

The Virtual Domain deepens.

Yin and Yang rotate.

The Four and Five Elements stabilize the space around him, preventing collapse, allowing him to stand unmoved within the storm.

Wither rises again.

Stronger.

Denser.

It wraps around his attacks, merging with Strength, Dark, and fragments of Dragon Law, turning each strike into something that not only destroys,

But erases.

The void trembles.

Their Laws collide endlessly.

Each moment reshapes the battlefield.

Each exchange tests the foundation of their Dao.

And neither yields.

The void twists further as their clash deepens, their Daos grinding against each other with increasing precision, no longer testing raw force, but probing the limits of understanding.

Ye Weiran steps lightly across the web of Laws she has woven, her movements elegant yet deadly, as Poison condenses into finer constructs, no longer broad and overwhelming, but sharp and exact, striking at the smallest flaws in Merin’s domain.

Emotion follows.

Not as a wave this time,

But as threads.

Subtle.

Precise.

They attempt to slip into Merin’s perception, to distort his judgment, to shift his intent at the moment of action.

Evil amplifies it.

Turning every minor deviation into potential collapse.

Above it all, the Moon stabilizes her control, anchoring her Dao so that none of her Laws conflict, all moving in perfect harmony.

Merin responds.

His Virtual Domain compresses.

Refines.

The chaotic interplay of Laws around him becomes ordered, controlled, layered with intent rather than expansion.

Dream dissolves interference.

Yin and Yang rebalance distortions.

The Four and Five Elements reinforce structure.

And at the core,

Wither sharpens.

No longer spreading widely.

But focused.

Condensed.

A precise force of decay.

He watches.

Calculates.

Learns.

And then,

He moves.

For a brief moment, something changes.

A trace.

A faint imitation.

The Law of Cause and Effect.

Not complete.

Not perfect.

But enough.

He grasps it.

Uses it.

Combines it with Wither.

A seal forms.

Invisible.

Instant.

It bypasses the layers of Poison, slips through Emotion, avoids the distortion of Evil,

And appears directly at Ye Weiran’s shoulder.

It strikes.

Silently.

A mark forms.

Wither begins to spread.

Ye Weiran pauses.

The battle stops.

The void settles.

Merin lowers his hand.

“I win,” he says calmly.

There is no arrogance.

Only certainty.

Their clash was never meant to decide life or death,

Only to measure.

To understand.

Ye Weiran looks at the mark on her shoulder.

Then nods.

“Lord Merin,” she says, her voice carrying a faint trace of admiration, “you are truly a genius… invited from the main world.”

Merin does not deny it.

Nor confirm it.

Instead,

They speak.

Calmly.

As if the battle never happened.

Through their exchange, Merin learns more.

Secrets of the Human World.

There exists a realm,

The Dao Realm.

A place only Saints can enter.

He has felt its call.

Subtle.

Persistent.

But he did not act.

Because he did not know its source.

Now,

He understands.

Upon entering the Dao Realm, his consciousness will be sent into another world.

A trial.

His power,

Sealed.

Completely.

He must begin from nothing.

Recover.

Rebuild.

Only by regaining his strength can he pass.

Each success leads to another trial.

Six in total.

The Supreme Trial.

And upon passing all six,

The rewards will allow one to reach the Ninth Level of Quasi-Supreme.

Merin’s thoughts stir.

This,

Is a path.

Direct.

Clear.

To the realm he seeks.

The Supreme Stage.

The idea settles within him.

Not as temptation,

But as inevitability.

Ye Weiran finishes.

Then leaves.

Before departing, she gives him a method of contact.

A connection.

Between equals.

Her figure dissolves into moonlight.

And disappears.

Merin remains in the void.

Silent.

Still.

Then,

His gaze shifts.

Toward a distant direction.

He senses it.

His clone.

Long ago, he sent it through the Key of the Totem Palace.

Now,

He moves.

His figure disappears.

Heading toward it.
