"Wait!" the fusion entity suddenly stopped him. "It's too quiet here; there might be a trap."

As soon as the words were spoken, the palace walls suddenly began to shake, and countless black vines emerged from the walls, attacking the crowd.

These vines are different from the life-giving vines of the Flame Embers; they are entirely black, covered with sharp thorns, and exude a decaying aura.
