Chapter 195 Xia Yao Has Arrived

Xia Lanyue stood beside the carriage, facing two groups of people locked in combat.

On one side was the steward and his servants, and on the other side were Dai You and Jiang Di's brothers.

"Stop hitting! Stop hitting! Stop!" Xia Lanyue shouted hoarsely at the crowd, but no one listened to him.

Xia Lanyue tried to rush into the crowd to the railing, but Cuihong pulled her back, saying, "Miss, don't worry about it. This is not something you can handle. Don't hurt yourself."

The two groups got into a fight.

Jiang Di and the others were busy dealing with other servants and had no time to help Dai You.

"Oh no, Dai You is in danger!" Xia Lanyue exclaimed and walked towards Dai You, but she was pulled back by Xia Yao after only two steps.

“Don’t go, he’ll be fine,” Xia Yao said.

Under these circumstances, how could Xia Lanyue believe that Dai You was alright?! She broke free from Xia Yao's hand, "No, I have to go, I can't let Dai You die."

Xia Yao grabbed Xia Lanyue again, dragging her back, and said in a commanding tone, "I won't allow you to go."

On the other side, Jiang Di and the others stopped fighting and all moved closer to Xia Lanyue.

Xia Lanyue finally understood: Jiang Di and his brothers were too few in number to fight against the servants. They were fine in a short fight, but they were defeated in the long run.

Xia Yao, Zhou Yuan, and the others, totaling only five people, were strong but sensible enough not to get involved in the conflict.
