Chapter 141 Agreement
Chapter 141 Agreement
Several girls also spotted Krul. They weren't shocked; they thought it fit Diana's character perfectly.
To avoid exposing her perverse actions, Diana pulled Krul aside. Although she didn't consider her behavior to be perverse, others might, and it was better to avoid trouble.
"Hey, what are you trying to do? Let me make this clear first, I did all that to help you, and it was the idea that the girl next to you came up with."
Diana said in a low voice.
Krullu was furious at Diana's attempt to conceal the truth, and she glanced at the girls not far away.
"What? You did that to me, and now you think you can just take advantage of me and get rid of me?"
Several girls listened intently. 'That kind of thing? What exactly did Anna do to her?'
Diana quickly covered Krul's mouth and whispered in her ear:
"Fine, I give up. Just tell me what you want, as long as you don't tell anyone about that!"
Krul's lips curled into a smile. She hadn't expected this unexpected gain from her trip. 'Let her deal with that old woman? No way! Even if I don't interfere, they'll go to war sooner or later. Why should I bother?'
“Your blood is delicious. You just need to promise to let me drink your blood once a week, and I won’t tell them about it.”
Diana recalled the scene of feeding Krul's blood, and she shook her head repeatedly. If she agreed, it would truly confirm her identity as a pervert!
"No! You still want me to feed you blood like that? Absolutely not!"
Krul paused for a second, then understood Diana's thoughts, and her face instantly turned red.
"Who...who wants you to feed me! I can suckle by myself! Just tell me if you agree or not!"
Diana remembered what the girl beside Krul had said, and the two teeth that had been pulled out. 'Giving her a little blood wouldn't be a bad idea; I have plenty of blood anyway.'
"Okay! I promise you! I'll come see you on Monday."
After making the agreement, Diana went back.
"Anna, what exactly did you do to that girl?"
"We didn't do anything! We just had a barbecue together."
"There's definitely something fishy going on here! Confess now!"
"My lord! What kind of cat is Mao Ni?"
Krul watched the group leave, chatting and laughing, and she felt a little envious.
······
The fourth level of the Abyss Maze.
Gene looked at the projected images in the air with a look of satisfaction.
"As expected of my granddaughter! It seems that it won't be long before she can take down the Blood Ancestor!"
"Oh? I didn't expect you, a little bug, to have this kind of interest?"
Gene shuddered and turned around instantly.
A veiled woman in white descended the third-floor staircase, carrying a small, dying red dragon in her hand. She casually tossed the dragon in front of Gene.
"It seems I was too lenient, allowing you to disobey my orders."
Gene put away the crystal on the table. Apart from a slight surprise at first, his face remained expressionless, as if he had expected the woman in white to come.
Gene let out a long roar, and the entire fourth level of the maze began to tremble. Hordes of giant dragons surged out from the side paths around the plaza, completely surrounding it, with various roars echoing incessantly.
The woman in white had a cold look in her eyes beneath her veil. She hadn't expected Gene to be so decisive; it seemed he was going to break off all ties with her.
"You don't really think you can stand up to me with just these, do you?"
Gene sneered.
"That's hard to say. Things are different now. Even if you could kill us all, how much faith power would you have left?"
The woman in white remained silent. Gene was right. In the past, she would not have hesitated at all. But now, the power of faith she offered was pitifully little. If she consumed too much, and Diana reappeared, she would not be confident that she could escape unscathed.
The woman in white clapped her hands.
“I’m really curious about what kind of magic Diana possesses that makes you all so fascinated by her, even at the cost of your entire tribe.”
Gene snorted coldly.
"You'll never understand! You only care about yourself and your own interests!"
The woman in white suddenly laughed.
"Family ties? Friendships? Love? They're as fragile as paper in the face of human nature! These useless things only make people weak!"
The woman in white had no intention of actually making a move; her purpose in coming today was simply to gauge Gene's attitude.
She couldn't figure out what Diana was up to. With her current strength and influence, she could easily take over the capital.
During this time, she had been trying to find out about Diana. All the information indicated that she was just a simple child who seemed to have no purpose. She just ate, drank and played all day. All the things she did only brought trouble upon her. If you didn't provoke her, she wouldn't make the first move.
The woman in white had considered targeting those close to Diana before, but she ultimately gave up. She dared not gamble; if she couldn't kill them in one fell swoop, she would invite endless trouble.
"Very well, you did bet right. I will not be using my power to deal with you insects right now."
The woman in white turned and walked towards the stairs, then paused for a moment.
"Tell Diana not to get involved in church affairs, or she will regret it."
Gene neither agreed nor refused, watching the woman in white disappear at the end of the stairs. The worst-case scenario did not happen. He had already planned to weaken the woman to increase Diana's chances of winning.
Now, this situation only made him more worried. 'That woman won't just let it go like this; she won't allow anyone to be above her.'
'Anna, Grandpa still couldn't help you.'
