Chapter 173 Light Casting
Chapter 173 Light Casting
The battle started again, and this time the dwarves made obvious adjustments, and the intensity of the entire battle increased significantly.
The first to decide the outcome were the earth elements led by Witt and Lacey. After the dwarves paid a heavy price in casualties, the earth elements were eliminated. Witt and Lacey hastily retreated, leaving behind a patch of blood and stones on the ground.
Razuvios and the wind element successfully broke through the dwarf's defense line. Due to their own heavy losses and the fact that their teammates were unable to break through effectively, Razuvios could not advance alone and just stopped. The other battlefields were also in a state of equal strength. The consumption on Yun's side was very high, and the dwarves were not having an easy time either. After less than a day of fighting, more than half of the defense force inside Ironforge had been consumed. Fortunately, those who were close had already rushed back, but those who were farther away would still need some time.
Otherwise, Ironforge would have been breached by Yun.
"Sir, I didn't expect the dwarves to have so many tricks. I need you to summon the lava giant to make a breakthrough." Sintiale said.
"Can the lava giant break through? They already know this. Even if they are prepared, it doesn't necessarily mean they can break through." Yun said.
"That's about right. After all, the lava giant has extremely high defense, and the dwarves won't be able to do anything to it for a while."
"Aren't you going to break through? I have something else that might be useful."
"Anything else? Stronger than the lava giant?"
"It should be stronger, mainly biological, and a little faster than the Lava Giant's elements." Yun explained.
"Then we can give it a try. From what I've observed, the dwarven defenses are relatively weak in that area. We need to place an attacker there that can break through them, which will create a considerable hole in their defenses."
"Okay." Yun agreed, sneaked over quietly, and summoned the newest and most powerful one in his hand - Oro.
"Boom!" With a loud noise, a huge insect crawled out from the ground and swept across, directly sweeping away the nearby dwarves.
Hearing the noise here, a large number of dwarves rushed over. Although Oro was huge, his defense was not bad at all. The dwarves' repeated attacks couldn't even break Oro's skin, and many defensive buildings were directly destroyed by Oro's huge body. Now the dwarves had to gather more troops to deal with Oro.
"Sir, what is this?" Sintiale was also shocked by Oro. He had a defense that was not inferior to that of the lava giant, and he was also flexible and had a huge ability to spray venom. He even had the ability to walk on the ground. However, this guy didn't seem to be easy to control, which was a disadvantage. But Yun was alone, so this kind of attack regardless of friend or foe was actually an advantage.
"The leader of the insects is difficult to control, so we have to let him out. He will run away after a while," Yun explained.
"Insect leader?" Sindialai was a little confused.
"Yes, there are many insect leaders. I will introduce them to you later." Yun said as he watched Oro wreaking havoc there.
Sindiyalai was shocked again. It had only been a short time. Has Yun improved again? Not only did he gain more wind elements, but his demons were also stronger, and he could even summon insect leaders? Did Yun put himself in Gadgetzan on purpose to prevent him from following? Was Yun pretending?
Sindyalai thought a lot, but seeing Yun excitedly watching Oro dismantle the building, he didn't look like Yun was so scheming. Was it really a coincidence? Or was that place dangerous, so Yun had to go alone? Anyway, he didn't think too much about it. As long as he got along well with Yun, he would be able to break through to level nine in no time.
The dwarves were a little surprised by the appearance of Oro but they did not take it too seriously. However, they gradually realized that Oro was not someone they could deal with. Even though they had gathered a lot of strong men, they still could not do anything to Oro.
Seeing that Oro kept tearing the line apart, causing collapse in other places, the dwarves had to send out a strange army.
Arthas has gathered a considerable force by leading the spiders and constantly resurrecting the undead, but their general levels are not very high, so they have not yet made a quick breakthrough. The advantage of the undead is that the bigger and more they are, the pressure here is already quite great.
Arthas saw a group of dwarves with golden light suddenly rushing towards him. They were all wearing golden armor and golden giant swords. They easily killed Arthas's undead army with a few swipes.
Arthas also discovered this and hurriedly mobilized all the undead to attack them, but each of their attacks carried a powerful holy light force that could easily kill the undead, and Arthas was unable to resurrect these undead. The battle here was one-sided. Even though there were still a lot of undead, they could only kill them for a while.
Seeing that the situation was not good, Arthas retreated immediately, allowing the undead to swarm forward to stop this group of strange dwarves.
Arthas quickly returned to Yun's team. Together with Witt and Lacey who had returned earlier, two teams had already been defeated. Arthas told Yun about his defeat and began to watch Oro running rampant there.
"Sir, do you know this group of dwarves?" asked Sintiale.
"I don't know, but since they can restrain the undead very well, they must be using Holy Light skills." Yun analyzed.
"Holy Light skills? That means a Paladin? Can dwarves also have Paladins?" Sintiale continued to ask.
"Why not? As long as you believe in the Holy Light and can gather the power of the Holy Light, you can become a Paladin."
"Then can I?" asked Sindialai.
"You want to be a paladin?" Yun suddenly turned and looked at Sindialai.
"My Lord, I will obey you."
"Then don't become one. A Paladin isn't necessarily that good. You don't have to go through this method if you want to break through." Yun said simply.
Just as everyone was waiting for Oro, North and Farina also came back.
After questioning, it was found that like Arthas, they were defeated by a group of guys shining with golden light, and a kind of suppression appeared.
"It's certain that it's the power of Holy Light. This is a team of dwarf paladins, but where did the dwarves get the paladins' inheritance?" Yun said to himself.
Now that the other party had taken action, Sintiale knew that if they continued to disperse like this, they would be easily defeated, so she immediately asked someone to call back Rasuvios and Aaron. She had to concentrate the existing resources.
When Yun's side had gathered, everyone finally saw the team emitting holy light.
"This... this is not a Paladin at all, this is... a Lightforged Dwarf?" Yun said in surprise.
